These double chocolate cookies are easy to make, bake up super soft and chewy, and are bursting with extra chocolate chips.
- 1 1/2C all-purpose flour
When I was younger, I was notorious for tearing through desserts and leaving a ring of chocolate around my mouth as evidence. When it came to sugar, decorum was out the window—and nothing’s changed; I’m still a sweets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner kind of gal, with chocolate on chocolate being the ultimate combo.
With Christmas right around the corner, Christmas cookies are on everyone’s mind and these babies are a great addition to any cookie plate. They are perfectly chocolatey without being overly sweet and have just the right amount of salt to make you want to reach for a second (or a third). They are also infinitely customizable. Simply swap some of the vanilla with peppermint extract and sprinkle some candy canes on top, BOOM, Christmas in a cookie. Or, swap out the chocolate chips for peanut butter chips, and you’ve got yourself some chocolate/peanut butter goodness. Enjoy!Print
